Digital transformation affects all stages of the agri-food value chain. Digitalisation is being combined with innovations and eco-innovations to gain a competitive advantage ensure greater sustained competitiveness. However, not technologies have been implemented in same way at pace by different companies sector. The aim this research identify internal external drivers digitalisation develop synthetic index rank based on those drivers, before examining relationship between position ranking innovation. results reveal that decisive are management support pressure rather than from government policies or suppliers. Higher terms process more proactive introducing product radical most eco-innovative thus sustainability-oriented. Finally, show sector marked depth technology implementation, specifically IoT, big data artificial intelligence. Blockchain does currently make difference as it widely used.
